Corner Point Advisory, LLC is a boutique advisory firm focused on helping clients through times of financial distress.  We offer a broad array of services to small and mid-size businesses and lenders ranging from financial and liquidity viability assessments, debt restructurings, interim management, bankruptcy case management, and asset disposals and liquidations. 

In 2019, following a 40+ year entrepreneurial career in corporate finance, Henry Moorhead was contemplating a stress-free retirement filled with family, friends, and travel when, taking on one last professional challenge,  he agreed to assist an acquaintance’s company through the Chapter 11 bankruptcy process.  Over the next 18 months, he worked with ownership, creditors, and counsel to stabilize the company and develop a plan of reorganization acceptable to all constituents and which allowed the company to successfully emerge from bankruptcy.  Early on in the process, the company experienced 100% turn-over in its accounting staff, and Mr. Moorhead brought in Danielle Torbert to steady the accounting and bankruptcy reporting process.  While working on this engagement, Mr. Moorhead and Ms. Torbert realized the value of their experiences to other companies and thus they launched Corner Point Advisory to bring their experience to a select client base.
